Security Breach at Salman Khan’s Home: Man and Woman Held for Trespassing at Galaxy Apartments
In a serious breach of security, two separate individuals attempted to trespass into Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, on May 19 and 20. The incidents come amid heightened security concerns following death threats and a recent gunfire attack linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
On the evening of May 20 at around 7:15 PM, a man identified as Jitendra Kumar Singh, a resident of Chhattisgarh, was caught entering the premises. He was immediately apprehended and is now in police custody.
Earlier that same day, in the early hours of May 20, a woman named Isha Chhabra, reportedly 32 years old, was found near the lift area of the building before being intercepted by the security team. She was handed over to the Bandra Police, and a formal case has been registered.
Authorities have launched an investigation into both incidents. As of now, the motive behind the trespassing attempts remains unclear.
These breaches have amplified ongoing concerns about Salman Khan’s safety. In April 2024, the actor’s residence was the target of a gunfire attack, with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, Anmol Bishnoi, allegedly claiming responsibility via social media. Following the incident, Khan’s security was significantly upgraded.
The actor later gave a detailed statement to the Mumbai Crime Branch’s anti-extortion cell, where he confirmed hearing gunfire and expressed belief that the Bishnoi gang was targeting him.
“There had been attempts to hurt me and my family prior to this as well… I believe that it is the Lawrence Bishnoi gang who have carried out the firing on my balcony,” Salman had stated during his deposition.
Despite the threats, Salman Khan has publicly maintained a stoic stance. While promoting his film Sikander in March this year, he said, “Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai,” referring to divine fate over fear.
The twin trespassing incidents now place renewed focus on the effectiveness of current security arrangements at the superstar’s residence, especially given his high-profile status and previous threats.
Police officials are continuing inquiries into both individuals’ backgrounds and possible links to any broader threats.
