Vijay Deverakonda’s Car Meets With Accident In Telangana, Actor Escapes Unhurt
Popular actor Vijay Deverakonda had a narrow escape on Monday after the car he was travelling in was involved in an accident near Undavalli in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwala district. The actor was present in the vehicle at the time of the crash but emerged completely unscathed.According to police, the incident occurred around 3 pm while Vijay was travelling from Puttaparthi to Hyderabad.
A Bolero vehicle driving ahead of the actor’s Lexus suddenly made a right turn, causing the Lexus to collide with its left side. Police confirmed that Vijay and two other occupants in his car were not injured. Following the mishap, the actor immediately switched to another vehicle to continue his journey, while his team filed a police complaint for insurance purposes.
The news comes just a day after the actor, along with his family, visited the Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Prasanthi Nilayam ashram in Puttaparthi. The accident also follows recent widespread reports and speculation about his personal life.
It has been rumoured that Vijay got engaged to actress Rashmika Mandanna in a private ceremony on October 3, with a destination wedding planned for February 2026, though neither actor has officially confirmed the news.On the work front, Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in the Telugu spy drama ‘Kingdom’, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, which is currently streaming on Netflix.
