5-Year-Old Girl Dies After Speeding BMW Hits Scooter in Noida; 2 Students Arrested

A five-year-old girl died and two men were critically injured after a speeding BMW crashed into their scooter in Noida’s Sector 30 on Saturday night. The tragic incident occurred as the girl’s father and uncle were rushing her to a hospital because she was unwell.
The victim has been identified as Aayat, whose father, Gul Mohammad, and uncle, Raja, were taking her to the Post Graduate Institute of Child Health in Sector 30. Their scooter was hit by the BMW near the hospital, and Aayat died at the scene. Both men sustained serious injuries and have been hospitalized in critical condition.
Noida Police have arrested two students, Yash Sharma, who was allegedly driving, and his co-passenger Abhishek Rawat. A case has been registered at the Sector 20 police station, and an investigation is underway to determine if the accused were driving rashly or under the influence. Visuals of the heavily damaged BMW and the scooter are being shared widely online, with some users drawing parallels to the recent Pune Porsche crash.
This incident comes just a day after another fatal road accident in Greater Noida where two young men died after their scooty was hit by an unidentified vehicle. Earlier in the month, a 54-year-old woman was killed in Greater Noida West when a truck hit the scooter she was on with her husband
