Aligarh : 25-Year-Old Shot Dead by 4 Bike-Borne Men in Ahead of Ramzan Sehri
A 25-year-old man, Haris alias Katta, was gunned down by four unidentified assailants on motorcycles in Uttar Pradesh’s Aligarh early Friday, just before the Ramzan sehri meal. Police suspect a personal dispute triggered the fatal attack, which was captured on CCTV.
The incident took place around 3 am in the Telipada area of Roravar, as Haris stood near his home waiting for sehri. Four men on two bikes opened fire, shooting multiple rounds that killed him instantly. Panic gripped the locality as residents awoke to the sound of gunfire in the early hours.
A nearby CCTV camera recorded the chilling assault, showing the assailants firing at Haris before fleeing the scene. Forensic teams have collected evidence, and police are analyzing the footage to identify the perpetrators. The video has become a key element in the ongoing investigation.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Mayank Pathak said, “Preliminary investigation suggests a personal dispute.” He added, “We are investigating from all possible angles and questioning the victim’s family.” Investigators noted Haris had an ongoing conflict, which may have led to the targeted killing.
Police arrived promptly at the scene, assuring strict action against those responsible. Security has been heightened in the area to maintain order following the incident. Officers are confident the culprits will be apprehended soon as the probe intensifies.
