‘Condom’ Questions, CCTV Spying: Students Reveal Chilling Details of Abuse by Delhi Godman

Disturbing new allegations have surfaced against Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, the absconding self-styled godman accused of molesting 17 female students at a Delhi management institute . Students have now revealed that Saraswati not only sent them lewd late-night messages but also spied on them through CCTV cameras placed in their hostel, including near bathrooms, and invasively questioned them about their sexual relationships and use of condoms .

The harrowing accounts from students at the Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management in Vasant Kunj paint a picture of systematic abuse and coercion . Multiple women alleged that CCTV cameras were installed throughout the women’s hostel, with the accused maintaining remote access to the live feeds . They also recounted a disturbing and coercive Holi ritual where female students were forced to line up and bow before Saraswati, who would then be the first to apply colour to their cheeks and the parting of their hair .

The harassment allegedly extended to public shaming and threats. One student from Haryana was branded “characterless” in front of her peers for having a boyfriend, while another was seen fleeing his office in tears with her clothes torn . The accused allegedly held the original educational documents of all students, refusing to return them to anyone who resisted his advances or attempted to complain, effectively holding their careers hostage . The FIR also claims that other female staff and faculty members at the institute were complicit, pressuring students to delete incriminating messages and draft apology emails to Saraswati .

These new details add to the already shocking allegations of late-night “Baby, I love you” messages and threats of academic failure against students who resisted his demands . Saraswati, who has a history of similar complaints against him from 2009 and 2016, remains on the run . Police have issued a lookout circular and seized a luxury Volvo with a fake UN diplomatic number plate that he allegedly used . Meanwhile, the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, with which the institute is affiliated, has publicly severed all ties with him .
