Huma Qureshi’s Cousin Murdered in Delhi Over Parking Dispute, 2 Arrested
Asif Qureshi, the cousin of Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, was tragically killed in Delhi’s Nizamuddin area on Thursday night following a violent dispute over parking. The police have arrested two men in connection with the murder, which took place in Jangpura Bhogal Lane around 11 p.m.
According to police, a heated argument erupted when Asif Qureshi confronted two of his neighbors about a two-wheeler parked in front of the main gate of his house. The altercation quickly escalated, and the accused allegedly attacked him with sharp weapons. Asif was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition but was declared dead by doctors upon arrival.
Asif’s wife, Sainaz Qureshi, told police that this was not the first time the accused had picked a fight with her husband over the same parking issue. She alleged that on Thursday, when Asif returned from work and asked the neighbors to move their vehicle, they responded with verbal abuse before launching the brutal attack. Family members described the assault as merciless, stemming from a trivial matter.
Following the incident, police registered a case and launched a manhunt, which led to the swift arrest of both accused individuals. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
