India To Announce ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Squad Tomorrow
In an eagerly anticipated announcement, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has confirmed that the Indian squad for both the upcoming ODI series against England and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be revealed this Saturday in Mumbai. The decision follows a media advisory issued by BCCI on Friday, setting the stage for a significant press conference at 12:30 PM IST, where skipper Rohit Sharma and selection committee chairman Ajit Agarkar will share insights into the team selections.
Before diving into the ODIs, India will first engage in a five-match T20I series against England, starting on January 22 in Kolkata. The T20I matches are scheduled across various cities, with Chennai, Rajkot, Pune, and Mumbai following Kolkata. The T20 series will conclude on February 2, paving the way for the ODI series to commence on February 6.

ICC Champions Trophy Dates
The ICC Champions Trophy 2025, set to start on February 19 and run until March 9, will be hosted jointly by Pakistan and the UAE, with India playing all its matches in Dubai due to the hybrid model adopted for the tournament. This event will feature 15 matches in the 50-over format, bringing together eight teams in a thrilling competition. India, placed in Group A alongside defending champions Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, will kick off their campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. The much-anticipated clash with Pakistan is slated for February 23, with India’s final league game against New Zealand on March 2.
This announcement is crucial as it will outline India’s strategy and player selection for these major tournaments, setting expectations for fans and setting the tone for what promises to be an exciting cricket season ahead.
