Maharashtra Portfolio Allocation: Full List of Ministers
The BJP-led Mahayuti government in Maharashtra has finalized its cabinet portfolio allocation. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis retains the Home Ministry. Deputy Chief Ministers Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar have been given significant departments. This marks a strategic distribution of responsibilities among the coalition partners.

- Devendra Fadnavis (Chief Minister): Retains the Home Ministry, along with Energy (excluding Renewable Energy), Law and Judiciary, General Administration, and Information and Publicity departments.
- Eknath Shinde (Deputy Chief Minister): Assigned Urban Development, Housing, and Public Works (Public Enterprises).
- Ajit Pawar (Deputy Chief Minister): Takes charge of Finance and Planning, along with State Excise.

Cabinet Expansion Details:
On December 15, 2024, the cabinet expanded. The induction included 39 ministers. There were 33 as cabinet ministers and six as ministers of state. This expansion followed extensive negotiations among coalition partners to ensure a balanced representation.
