Sahar Police have registered a case against an unidentified individual for abandoning the newborn. This incident follows a similar case in February, where two newborns were found dead and abandoned in Maharashtra’s Thane district. Such occurrences have raised concerns about child abandonment in the region, with authorities emphasizing the need for stricter monitoring and awareness to prevent such tragedies.

The investigation is expected to intensify as police work to identify the individual responsible for abandoning the newborn. Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) is likely to release an official statement soon. Further details, including the post-mortem report, are awaited as the case unfolds.
