‘My Mother Was Abused On Congress-RJD Stage’: PM Modi Gets Emotional Over Slogans in Bihar

The controversy erupted after a video went viral from an event in Darbhanga on August 28, showing a man hurling abuses at the Prime Minister’s mother . The man, identified as Mohammad Rizvi alias Raza (20), was later arrested . The stage from where the slogans were shouted was part of the yatra being led by Rahul Gandhi, his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav .

Targeting the opposition, PM Modi said that the sacrifices of an ordinary mother cannot be understood by “young princes born into royal families,” for whom power seems like a family inheritance.
