‘No Key Indian Assets Damaged During ‘Operation Sindoor’, Objectives Met’ Rajnath Singh On Op Sindoor Debate

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday assured the Lok Sabha that “no important asset of ours was damaged” during ‘Operation Sindoor’, India’s recent counter-terror operation. Opening the parliamentary debate on the operation, Singh asserted that the armed forces acted with precision, successfully targeting over 100 terrorists, trainers, and handlers across nine terror infrastructure sites.
Addressing the House, Singh categorically refuted claims that the operation was halted due to any external pressure, labelling such assertions as “baseless” and “wrong.” He stated, “India stopped the operation because all the political and military objectives were achieved beforehand.” He added, “This offer was accepted with the caveat that this Operation has only been paused. If any misadventure occurs from Pakistan’s side in the future, this Operation will be resumed.”
The Defence Minister also claimed that Pakistan admitted defeat after the Indian Air Force struck multiple airfields in Pakistan on May 10. He highlighted the effectiveness of India’s air defence and counter-drone systems, stating, “Pakistan could not hit any of our targets, and none of our important assets were damaged. Our security arrangements were impregnable, and every attack was thwarted.”
Singh further clarified that the objective of ‘Operation Sindoor’ was never to capture territory but “to eliminate those terror nurseries that Pakistan had nurtured for many years.” His statement comes amidst ongoing parliamentary discussions on the Pahalgam terror attack and the subsequent military response.
