Pawan Kalyan, Chandrababu Naidu Extend Support to PM Modi Over Pahalgam Terror Attack

Andhra leaders Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu Naidu publicly pledged support to PM Modi in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, vowing unity and national resolve.
During Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh on Friday, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu pledged their unwavering support to the central leadership in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians.
The leaders were attending a public event in the state where PM Modi inaugurated and laid foundation stones for infrastructure projects worth ₹58,000 crore.
“The Pahalgam terrorist attack has been the darkest day for the entire country,” said Pawan Kalyan. “PM Modi is leading the nation through these tough times and has assured justice for the victims.”
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu echoed Kalyan’s sentiment and lauded the Prime Minister’s leadership during the crisis. He addressed the crowd, stating, “We are with you, whole Andhra is with you, the entire country is with you.”
Naidu recalled that when he visited Delhi after the attack to invite Modi for the Amaravati resort programme, he noticed a visible shift in the PM’s usual demeanor. “He was unusually serious. The pain of the incident was evident on his face,” Naidu remarked.
Andhra minister Nara Lokesh also praised PM Modi, calling him the “Architect of Bharat” and the “missile that gives a strong reply to Pakistan.”
“Even if a hundred Pakistanis come together, they can’t pluck a single blade of grass in India,” Lokesh said, highlighting the strength of India’s national security under Modi’s leadership.
He also welcomed the Centre’s move to conduct a caste census, calling it a “historic and bold” decision that previous governments had failed to implement.
The comments come in the aftermath of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, which left 26 civilians dead. The government has attributed the attack to Pakistan-sponsored terror outfits.
PM Modi’s visit to Andhra Pradesh comes at a politically and emotionally charged time, with the Centre taking a strong stand on national security and counterterrorism.
