PM Modi Distributes 51,000 Govt Job Letters, Says ‘Bina Parchi, Bina Kharchi’ Is Our Motto

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday distributed over 51,000 appointment letters to new recruits in various government departments, highlighting his government’s motto of “Bina Parchi, Bina Kharchi” (recruitment without recommendations or bribes) to ensure transparency.

Addressing the 16th edition of the ‘Rozgar Mela’ (Employment Fair) via video conferencing, the Prime Minister said the initiative is empowering the nation’s youth and strengthening their participation in India’s development story.

“Our motto is ‘Bina Parchi Bina Kharchi’. Lakhs of youth have been employed through such Rozgar Mela and are contributing to the development of the nation,” PM Modi said in his address to the new appointees.

He added, “Some will protect the nation, some warriors of ‘Help for all’, some will strengthen the financial inclusion mission, and many others will enhance the industrial development of the nation. Your departments are different, but one body – nation’s service.”

The event was held simultaneously at 47 locations nationwide. The new recruits are set to join various central government ministries and departments, including the Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and the Department of Financial Services, among others.

Reiterating his vision for the country’s economic growth, the Prime Minister said, “Our country is moving towards becoming the third-largest economy in the world. The country has made progress in every sector in the last 11 years.”

The Rozgar Mela is a flagship initiative of the central government aimed at prioritizing employment generation. According to official figures, more than 10 lakh appointment letters have been distributed to young people across the country since the program’s inception.
