Shots Fired At Kapil Sharma’s Canada Cafe Again; Lawrence Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility
In a brazen act of violence, shots were once again fired at Kaps Café, a Canadian establishment owned by popular Indian comedian Kapil Sharma, in Surrey. Gangsters associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang have claimed responsibility for the attack, which is the latest in a series of targeted incidents against Sharma’s properties.According to reports, at least three rounds were fired at the café on Thursday. While no injuries were reported, a video of the aftermath has surfaced online.
Shortly after the incident, gangsters Goldy Dhillon and Kulvir Sidhu (Nepali), members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, took to social media to claim responsibility, escalating the threat against the comedian. Local police have launched an investigation into the shooting. This is the third such attack on Sharma’s Canadian café, which he co-owns with his wife Ginni Chatrath, in recent months. On August 7, the same establishment was targeted in a more intense attack, with reports suggesting over 25 rounds were fired.
The first attack occurred on July 10. Initially, authorities had suspected the involvement of the Laddi gang, which is believed to have links to the banned Khalistani outfit Babbar Khalsa International (BKI).The repeated attacks have heightened security concerns for Sharma. It is reported that he is likely to receive police protection following these persistent threats. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang’s involvement is particularly alarming, as they had previously claimed responsibility for an attack on one of Sharma’s properties in Punjab, indicating a sustained campaign of intimidation against him.
