States Ramp Up Security for Ram Navami: Drones Deployed in Maharashtra, ‘Peace Room’ Set Up in Bengal
In anticipation of the Ram Navami celebrations, several states have intensified security measures to ensure public safety and maintain communal harmony. Authorities in Maharashtra, West Bengal, and other regions are implementing advanced surveillance technologies and strategic initiatives to manage the large gatherings expected during the festivities.
Maharashtra’s law enforcement agencies are deploying drones to monitor processions and crowded areas during Ram Navami. This aerial surveillance aims to provide real-time data to manage crowds effectively and respond promptly to any untoward incidents. The state’s police department has also increased personnel deployment in sensitive zones to prevent potential disruptions.
In West Bengal, the police have established an ‘Ayodhya Peace Room’ to oversee the celebrations.
