In a shocking turn of events, renowned Indian comedian Kapil Sharma, alongside actor Rajpal Yadav, singer Sugandha Mishra, and choreographer Remo D’Souza, have been targeted with death threats through emails purportedly sent from Pakistan. The emails, attributed to an individual named ‘Vishnu’, explicitly state, “We are watching your recent actions closely. We believe it is necessary to bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a public stunt or an attempt to harass you.”

The threatening emails demand confidentiality and warn of “dangerous consequences” should their unspecified demands not be met within eight hours. The gravity of these threats has prompted immediate action from law enforcement. According to reports from Free Press Journal, the Amboli Police have registered an FIR under Section 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against an unknown person based on the complaint lodged by Rajpal Yadav’s wife. Both Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza have also reported the threats to the police.

Kapil Sharma, famous for his television shows like “The Kapil Sharma Show” and “Comedy Nights with Kapil,” and more recently for hosting “The Great Indian Kapil Show” on Netflix, has also ventured into films with works like “Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon,” “Firangi,” “Zwigato,” and “Crew.” At a recent event in New Delhi, Kapil shared a poignant reflection on his career, highlighting the significant journey from his days as a background singer to receiving awards at the same venue.
