PM Modi inaugurated several transformative projects in Delhi today, January 3, 2025, aimed at improving the quality of life and advancing infrastructure in the national capital. These projects include the World Trade Centre (WTC) at Nauroji Nagar, GPRA Type-II Quarters at Sarojini Nagar, and CBSE’s Integrated Office Complex at Dwarka. Additionally, he laid the foundation stone for Veer Savarkar College in Najafgarh and inaugurated 1,675 flats under the In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project at Swabhiman Apartments, Ashok Vihar.

During the event, PM Modi handed over keys to beneficiaries of the newly constructed flats. He emphasized his government’s commitment to providing proper housing for all Indians. He remarked, “I don’t build Sheesh Mahals (palaces); I build homes for the poor.” This highlights his focus on practical development over luxury.

In the education sector, PM Modi announced three new academic projects worth over ₹600 crore, including cutting-edge academic blocks in East and West Delhi and the Veer Savarkar College in Najafgarh. These initiatives aim to reinforce Delhi’s reputation as an educational hub.

PM Modi used the platform to critique Delhi’s ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and its leader, Arvind Kejriwal. He alleged that the AAP government has neglected essential infrastructure and education, stating, “The last 10 years have brought disaster (‘aapda’) to Delhi.”

He accused AAP of mishandling issues like the Yamuna river cleanup and allowing tanker mafias to thrive. “People of Delhi are ready to free themselves from this disaster,” he declared, urging voters to demand accountability.

PM Modi also reflected on his roots in Delhi, recalling his participation in movements against Indira Gandhi’s Emergency. He reiterated his vision for making India a leading global manufacturing hub by 2025. This showcased his government’s commitment to political and economic stability.

The projects inaugurated today signify PM Modi’s focus on improving urban infrastructure, housing, and education. He took a firm stance against political opponents. He also highlighted his dedication to building a better quality of life for the people of Delhi.
