"Hostages Will Executed If..." BLA Warns Pakistan Army After Train Hijack in Balochistan

The Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) has hijacked the Jaffar Express train in Balochistan, taking approximately 400 passengers hostage and issuing a chilling warning to the Pakistan army. The militant group claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that any military operation would lead to the execution of all hostages. The incident, marked by a blown-up railway track, has heightened tensions in the restive province.

The BLA executed a planned attack in Mashkaf, Dhadar, Bolan, targeting the Quetta-to-Peshawar Jaffar Express. “Our freedom fighters blew up the railway track, forcing the train to halt, and swiftly took control,” the group said in a statement. The operation involved specialized units, including the Majeed Brigade, STOS, and Fateh Squad.

The BLA warned, “Any attempt at a military operation will result in the execution of all hostages.” It added, “The responsibility for such bloodshed will solely be on the Pakistani army.” The group’s threat has put authorities on high alert as rescue efforts begin.

The meticulously planned assault saw militants overpower the train after disrupting its route. The BLA claimed its fighters acted with precision to secure control over the passengers. The train, carrying around 400 people, remains under their custody in a remote area.

The BLA highlighted the involvement of its elite units—Majeed Brigade, STOS, and Fateh Squad—in the operation. “Any military incursion will be met with an equally forceful response,” the statement read, signaling readiness for escalation if challenged.

Pakistan’s security forces face a critical standoff as they weigh options to secure the hostages’ release. The provincial government has initiated emergency measures, but the rocky terrain complicates access. Updates on rescue operations and potential negotiations are awaited as the crisis unfolds.
