US President Donald Trump has issued a stark ultimatum to Hamas, demanding the Palestinian group agree to a peace deal with Israel by 6 p.m. Sunday, Washington D.C. time, or face an unprecedented assault. In a series of fiery posts on Truth Social, Trump warned that this was Hamas’s “LAST CHANCE” to release all Israeli hostages and end the two-year-long Gaza war, declaring that “peace will be had one way or the other.”The strongly-worded deadline is part of Trump’s aggressive push to enforce a 20-point peace proposal released by the White House, which aims to not only halt the fighting but also establish a framework for Gaza’s postwar governance.
“If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas,” Trump wrote, adding that “Every Country has signed on!” to the proposed deal. He demanded the immediate release of all hostages, “INCLUDING THE BODIES OF THOSE THAT ARE DEAD, NOW!”Calling the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel a “MASSACRE,” Trump described Hamas as a “ruthless” and “violent threat” that has plagued the Middle East for years.
He claimed that in retribution for the attack, “more than 25,000 Hamas ‘soldiers’ have already been killed.”In a chilling message directed at those in Gaza, Trump appealed to “innocent” Palestinians to move to safer locations, warning that many are in his “line of fire” and that their lives could be “quickly extinguished” with a single command from him. He ended with a direct threat to the remaining Hamas operatives: “As for the rest, we know where and who you are, and you will be hunted down, and killed.”
