Elon Musk, Trump’s Ally Steve Bannon Among New Names In Latest Batch Of Epstein Files
Elon Musk, former Donald Trump strategist Steve Bannon, and Britain’s Prince Andrew are among the high-profile names that have surfaced in a new batch of documents related to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein . The records, which include Epstein’s daily schedules and flight logs, were released on Friday by Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee and detail potential or planned meetings with some of the world’s most powerful men .
The documents show a calendar entry from December 6, 2014—six years after Epstein’s first conviction for sex crimes—which reads, “Reminder: Elon Musk to island Dec. 6 (is this still happening?)” . This suggests a potential visit by the tech billionaire to Little St. James, Epstein’s notorious private island. Musk has previously stated he was invited to the island but declined to go. Responding to the latest release on his platform X, Musk posted, “This is false” .
The newly released files also show a scheduled breakfast between Epstein and Steve Bannon, a key ally of President Trump, on February 16, 2019, just months before Epstein’s death . Another entry shows a planned lunch with billionaire tech investor and Republican donor Peter Thiel in November 2017 . While the schedules indicate planned meetings, they do not confirm if they actually took place, and the documents do not accuse any of the men of wrongdoing .
Flight manifests also confirmed that Prince Andrew flew on Epstein’s private jet in May 2000 from New Jersey to Florida, alongside Epstein and his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who has since been convicted of sex trafficking . The release of the documents has intensified the political battle in Washington, with Democrats vowing to identify everyone “complicit in Epstein’s heinous crimes,” while Republicans have accused them of “cherry-picking” information to target political opponents .
