'They Don’t Know What The F**k They’re Doing': Trump Fumes Over Israel-Iran Truce Breach

US President Donald Trump publicly lost his temper with both Israel and Iran on Tuesday, dropping an f-bomb to describe their actions after a US-brokered ceasefire to end their 12-day war almost collapsed within hours of being announced.

Speaking to reporters at the White House before departing for a NATO summit, a visibly furious Trump did not hide his frustration with the two warring nations. “We basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f**k they’re doing,” he said.

The President’s raw remarks came amid a chaotic day where both Israel and Iran accused each other of violating the truce meant to end a conflict that has rocked the Middle East. Trump confirmed he believed both sides had breached the agreement. “Iran did. Israel did, too. I’m not happy with Israel,” he said.

The outburst followed a dramatic series of posts on his Truth Social platform. Earlier, he had issued a stark, all-caps warning to Israel as it prepared to retaliate for an alleged Iranian violation. “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES,” he wrote.

According to reports by Axios, Trump also placed an “exceptionally firm” call to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging him to call off the impending attack to preserve the fragile peace. Netanyahu reportedly told Trump that some response was necessary after Iran violated the truce, but agreed to scale it back.

Following the call, Trump appeared to have salvaged the deal, posting that the immediate crisis was over. “ISRAEL is not going to attack Iran. All planes will turn around and head home… Nobody will be hurt, the ceasefire is in effect,” he assured.

The diplomatic scramble occurred after Trump had announced a “Complete and Total CEASEFIRE” late on Monday, congratulating both nations for having the “Stamina, Courage, and Intelligence to end” what he termed “THE 12 DAY WAR.” However, the truce was almost immediately jeopardised by reports of new missile fire, with each side blaming the other.

The intense 12-day conflict saw major Israeli and US strikes on Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure, and retaliatory missile barrages from Iran, including one on a US airbase in Qatar which appeared to precipitate the ceasefire talks. Despite the chaos, Trump remained adamant that Iran “will never rebuild their nuclear facilities.”
